Community Reviews
Good but could use improvement
reviewed on: 11/16/2021 by anonymousThis community is great I just feel like they need better communication. Other than this it has been fantastic getting us moved in and settled. Its just once u get in you don't know what to do or what to expect and the communication on this part could be a bit better.
Beautiful Community!
reviewed on: 10/17/2016 by AnonymousAlexian Village was a nice place. It didn't really have what i was looking for but i would recommend a tour. When i came to see the community i got a brochure which, explained what they had to offer. It was fairly new and there were no staff or residents yet. It had a nice set up to it and the meals plans sounded good. Activities were also available on site.
This community accepts public aid
reviewed on: 11/20/2017 by AnonymousI toured this facility when looking for a place for my parents to go so my experience was limited to just that. But everything was nice, the people seemed to be gracious, and everything seemed to be clean, which was the first thing I noticed. As soon as I walked in, there was no terrible odor or anything like at some other facilities you might see. I didn’t pick up on anything unpleasant. They take public aid but they don’t provide Alzheimer’s care, which is something that my parents were going to need so unfortunately this community didn’t work for us, though it is where I would’ve preferred to put my parents. They showed me a sample room that seemed nice but the windows were kind of small and the room seemed a little bit darker than other places I had taken a look at.
Feels like family
reviewed on: 02/01/2021 by anonymousMy aunt has been very happy at Alexian Village of Elk Grove. On her birthday they brought a piece of coffee cake with a candle in it and sang her happy birthday. Needless to say, the staff members here are great. They have been great with communication as well and are always keeping us updated. The facility offers tons of activities for residents to participate in, they always have something going. We were looking for a facility that takes medicaid and that provides activities and it just fit the bill perfectly. She is in a larger studio apartment with a full sized kitchen, it is great size for her needs. I am very happy with our choice.
