Safe and Comfortable in Excellent Care
reviewed on: 08/18/2020 by Anonymous“Safe and comfortable”. These many not be the most dazzling words to use in a review, but in my mother’s situation I can hardly think of two more important ones. When friends ask about how my mom is doing (at Addington Place of Grand Blanc), and they express sympathy and concern about her needing to be in memory care assisted living, I tell them, yes, it’s difficult for her but she is safe and comfortable, and that knowledge gives me a great deal of peace of mind. Especially with the pandemic—while it has been hard for everyone since they closed down to visitors, Addington Place has been vigilant about the safety of the residents and the staff. Speaking of the staff, they are terrific—kind, skilled, dedicated, patient—and they get my mom’s odd sense of humor! Witnessing the terrible, gradual, often painful debilitating effects of dementia on my mom’s mind and body is incredibly difficult, but knowing she is in the care of the wonderful people at Addington Place has made it as good as it can be.

The family parties and dances are such fun. Aunt Jo's family that live out of state appreciate all the updates and pictures. Thank you for all the wonderful ways you share your love with those you serve. You are all in my heart.
Very Caring Loving Staff
reviewed on: 04/01/2016 by AnonymousMy mother is very well and seems to be adjusting well to this community. This community is a special one they have a very caring loving staff here. They really care about your loved one and they are very attentive and responsive. The facility is clean and neat looks great, her room a little small but okay for her. They do offer a lot of activities that my mother enjoys. I would highly recommend this community because the staff have really gone above and beyond.

reviewed on: 08/02/2017 by AnonymousI was not too happy with this facility. They advertise that they do activities hourly, but when I went to visit, there were no activities being done. I didn't like the fact that they weren't entirely truthful in their advertisement.
