One assisted living and other for people with dementia and alzheimers. $3300/mo. includes all meals, meds, care and cleaning. The have staff that is trained in handling people wiwth alzheimers. She says their meals are delicious.
Safe and Comfortable in Excellent Care
reviewed on: 08/18/2020 by Anonymous“Safe and comfortable”. These many not be the most dazzling words to use in a review, but in my mother’s situation I can hardly think of two more important ones. When friends ask about how my mom is doing (at Addington Place of Grand Blanc), and they express sympathy and concern about her needing to be in memory care assisted living, I tell them, yes, it’s difficult for her but she is safe and comfortable, and that knowledge gives me a great deal of peace of mind. Especially with the pandemic—while it has been hard for everyone since they closed down to visitors, Addington Place has been vigilant about the safety of the residents and the staff. Speaking of the staff, they are terrific—kind, skilled, dedicated, patient—and they get my mom’s odd sense of humor! Witnessing the terrible, gradual, often painful debilitating effects of dementia on my mom’s mind and body is incredibly difficult, but knowing she is in the care of the wonderful people at Addington Place has made it as good as it can be.

Dark and Gloomy!
reviewed on: 12/29/2016 by AnonymousDuring my tour of the Prestige Pointe, I noticed that the place was very dark. The rooms had very little sunlight, and the main area was not vert cheerful. It seemed like the only option the residents had was to either sit in their rooms or sit in the main area. The place had a bad urine smell as well.
