Community Reviews
A nice tour
reviewed on: 06/29/2017 by AnonymousThis looked like a nice clean community when I visited. The people I met were nice. This is a secured community for memory care and my loved one was not ready for this type of community.
Care is overall good
reviewed on: 05/07/2019 by AnonymousMy family member is in the memory care unit at Carolina Reserve. The staff is friendly, but it is easy to get "jaded" working with this population and some of the staff seem annoyed at times. The CNA's who dispense medications have a "round the clock" duty and are glued to their computer screens and administering medications; it would be lovely to have more staff. The CNA's do an excellent job. The best part of Carolina Reserve are the activity director(s) who are very friendly and engaging. I would love it if they had more of a variety of activities and MUSIC at all times in the lobby! Music changes depression in dementia and Alzheimer's patients. Overall, my family member's experience has been good...the number one complaint from him/her is boredom.
Professional and Caring
reviewed on: 05/20/2020 by AnonymousI have the assurance that my Mom is taken care of, safe, and stable. My experience is that staff is consistently personable, approachable, professional, caring and that my Mom’s well-being matters. That matters to me!
care of my sweet wife and mother of our three boys
reviewed on: 09/20/2020 by trevor davidsoneveryone very helpful and pleasant during this difficult time. we know my wife is well taken care off. our son John set up Alexa Echo in our home and her room with the help of Moose so we can see and talk to her every day...if she has a problem with her unit the staff are always willing to help her it just takes a phone call to the front desk...keep up the good work and GOD bless
Overall a good community but could use some improvements
reviewed on: 12/21/2020 by anonymousWith COVID they are a little short staffed, however the folks that work there are really good, and they do everything that they can. At first they were really strong with the activities, but at one point there were no activities. The rooms are a little dark and depressing.
