Good Value and Location
reviewed on: 09/16/2013 by SonI think the value is great. I guess an improvement would be communicating with the families a little bit better. Sometimes you have to drag the information out rather than it being offered. My dad is doing alright there. He says the food is good. I've eaten there and I wouldn't say it's good - it's average or what's to be expected. They have a whole range of activities - drives, bingo, music, church. We chose The Hermitage pretty quickly in our search because of the value and the location.
Nice place!
reviewed on: 10/27/2014 by AnonymousOur experience so far with The Hermitage has been a good one! The people are all very friendly, and they seem to take great care of their residents. The facility itself is clean and well kept, and they've got a lot to offer the people who live there. It has worked out well so far!

The Hermitage in Alexandria, Va
reviewed on: 02/16/2017 by Joan AdairA clean friendly place 5 minutes from our kids. Staff exceptional, food choices delicious, as many activities as one would want, including trips to government buildings/museums which are quite close. Apartments are large and seem to be renovated often. One can have as many or as few services as they wish. The building also has a theater, a gym, and a large lobby where residents like to congregate. A nice treat we have each morning is a drink made with a variety of fruit and veggies . There is daily newsletter listing both daily and weekly activities. The library also receives copies of the two local newspapers, which are a popular read every morning.
