Excellent Care for the Madison Avenue Residents during this time of Crisis
reviewed on: 03/27/2020 by Nancy MaxwellThe Director and all the staff at the Madison Avenue House are doing a terrific job of keeping my Mother safe during this horrible coronavirus situation. I know they're working tirelessly day and night to do the right things for the health and safety of the residents, along with attending to the physical and emotional needs of the residents. While it is very difficult for the families to not see their loved ones as they usually do, it is comforting to know that they have good safe care. I have complete admiration for the staff.
Singing Praises for Madison House
reviewed on: 05/07/2021 by Caroline SMy parents never wanted to leave their own home, but it became increasingly obvious that they weren't able to take care of themselves after my father had a stroke. I toured Madison House and liked what I saw. After my parents moved in, I was even more impressed. My mother never had to cook again. She could make tea in the apartment, and there was always fresh fruit, but three meals a day were graciously served in the dining room. I cannot sing the praises of the staff as loudly as I would like. Everyone, from the top down, is caring and ethical. My father passed away in hospice, at the age of 91. But my mother passed away in Madison House just ten days short of her 99th birthday, lovingly cared for by the staff in her last days. I was deeply moved by the reverence with which my mother was kept comfortable, and grateful for the advice and support offered to me...
Phenomenal staff, environment, and leadership
reviewed on: 03/08/2021 by Shannon FI had the opportunity to spend a few days at Madison House as a volunteer health care provider to help immunize residents against COVID-19. It's not possible to overstate the ways in which I was positively impacted by this experiences. To a one, the staff members were kind, respectful, and joyful with the residents. Every single staff member with whom I worked was professional, skilled, and caring. They know all the residents well, including individual preferences and backgrounds - and took the time that was needed to make sure each and every resident was comfortable and knowledgeable about the vaccine injections. The operational aspects of the vaccine initiative were equally impressive, and I noticed that the leadership, right up to the CEO, was hands on, with really amazing attention to detail...including on a Saturday afternoon and a Friday morning. And I was able to see the same level of care and professionalism in four separate sites/buildings. I know that if anyone in my family (including myself!) needs this type of residential environment and care, Bainbridge Senior Living is #1 on the list for us.
All around excellent
reviewed on: 02/28/2017 by BridgetteAll around excellent! Every person I spoke to was happy there. I felt like a Michelle was showing me her home and family instead of a facility and its residents!
Excellent Care
reviewed on: 03/09/2021 by Megan LBoth my parents have lived at Madison House for nearly 4 years. Throughout the pandemic the director of the facility and the president/CEO of Bainbridge Senior Living have done an excellent job communicating and keeping us informed of current safety protocols, ways to help us connect with our loved ones, and sharing pictures of their weekly activities. The staff offer a range of activities, events and outings to help residents stay active and enriched. Prior to the pandemic my young children would join their grandma and the other residents for BINGO. My dad enjoys going to the mens group meeting to share stories and talk about current events. My father is now in his nineties with limited mobility and my mother has a number of health issues. As their health has declined in the past year the staff have been very helpful in providing additional physical and emotional support. I so am grateful for the staff at Madison House and thankful my parents are surrounded by staff that are engaged and supportive.
