We chose Spring Hills Hunters Creek because it was the closest one to my home for the money and the director that I went through to get my mom moved in was excellent. They took care of everything and made the transition much easier. The room sizes here are very nice, they do also have options to choose from as well. Overall, they really care about each and every resident individually and they always call when there is a problem. I would highly recommend.

Great place

Spring Hills was a great place for my mom. The staff was very caring. At meals, there was a menu for residents to order what they wished - and the wonderful servers would have suggestions for what they knew my mom would like when she was stuck in grilled cheese sandwich mode. There were lots of activities each and every day, with outside speakers and performers on a regular basis. The value for what we paid was incredible - before my mom moved to Spring Hills, we had three hours of in-home care daily. It was only 50% more than that to have her at Spring Hills in a wonderful environment that she often compared to being on vacation. My mom was at Spring Hills for over four years - I generally visited a couple times a week and everything was great every time. I wholeheartedly recommend Spring Hills.

My mom moved into Spring hills just over a year ago. She is turning 91 in overall good health with the exception of mild dementia and the use of a walker due to having had a broken femur about a year before moving in.... She LOVES it at Spring Hill. We are all impressed by the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the building. My mom likes the food a lot and she has gained 30 pounds having gone from a size 8 to petite 14...I don't care...she should enjoy eating at this point in her life. The social activities she engages in mostly and seems to attend all the religious services (shes not religious!) and always has a million books from the library in her room. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. They don't go on too many interesting trips but I guess they do not get a lot of response to go on them when they are offered by the residents. The rooms are all very bright and cheerful. Overall I am extremely pleased how this has worked out for us. Very nice place with good care and smiling faces. I would recommend!

Home away from home

I brought my parents to Spring Hills a little over 3 months ago. They have been so happy living there. The staff is so friendly, it smells so good and the concierge makes sure that all of their needs and wants gets met. I was a bit concerned with the community being a bit older and smaller...but quite honestly I understand now how this makes the residents feel like they're at home.
