Wonderful homereviewed on: 11/10/2014 by Anonymous
The staff is very caring and friendly. My mother in law loves the food and the people. The Legacy has a very homey atmosphere and her living quarters were the largest of any of the other assisted living situations she visited. She has a small kitchen, large enough to accommodate a small table, sitting area and separate bedroom with bathroom attached. My mother in law has had issues in adjusting to her new living situation and the staff has been supportive and proactive in making this transition work for her. The staff is approachable, helpful, patient and show that they care. Really glad we moved my mother in law to the Legacy, Couldn't be more pleased with the choice.

So far so good at The Legacy at Lafayette. The staff is great. They have been generally pretty good about everything. He seems to like it there and that's what matters.

Great community for a loved one. The staff here bend over backwards to accommodate residents. Leadership is very compassionate and caring-- The admissions director, Gina, is outstanding in communicating and understanding of the stress involved when placing a loved one in a new environment. Lots of positive energy here. Great location for family to visit and maybe relax outside under the covered porch or go for an outing.
A great place for my momreviewed on: 11/10/2020 by Anonymous
The community is very comfortable, and homey feeling. It was the community I liked the best and the cost was more affordable than others. They were always very kind to our family. The room sizes were pretty good and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this community
Unhappy and hungry...reviewed on: 07/01/2016 by Amy Reed
Read "miserable" again and again! They cover very well what does and does not go on here. The one thing that was missed was the lack of food. Two months ago our food choices were cut by more than a half. The quality of the food borders on garbage, lunch entrees of nothing more than soup and at dinner cold sandwiches. Staff claims they do not have enough money for food. Even serving size has been cut back by at least one-third. Most of the residents, including myself, go to bed hungry. Read "miserable" again and run for your life!
