Linden At Woodbridge

reviewed on: 07/17/2020 by Anonymous

The community was very clean and the staff was very friendly. We were very happy with the Linden. My parents didn't participate much in the activities, however they did have them available for the residents to participate in. We did feel like Linden At Woodbridge was a good value for the price.

Worth the Money

I don't live in town, so I am not able to be there. I've been able to speak to the staff over the phone, and observe to the conversation of the staff with my loved one. The community has been really good at accommodations, to have some extra decorations to make her feel comfortable and orienting her. The community made it feel like my loved one's house. They are good at redirecting and giving medications to my loved one. The food is excellent, and is good enough that visitors want to eat there. The chef worked in a restaurant in the past. The staff are engaged with the residents in the memory care unit, and are thoughtful. I feel it is a good value. It is sometimes hard to get a hold of the staff since I am out of town. They are good at follow up and getting my loved one to their doctor appointments. They have an onsite physician. They've also done a great job at managing medications for my loved one.

Okay First Impression

reviewed on: 09/05/2013 by Not Too Impressed

I'd say it was okay. The overall impression we had was just not as good as another place. It didn't seem as clean or as good in general. I don't know if this is fair since we just took tour but for a first impression, it was okay.

My First Choice!

reviewed on: 12/03/2013 by Daughter

Emeritus at Woodbridge was my first choice. I would have picked them if the decision was up to me. I liked that they would provide extra care as you go. When my father needed extra care and another place we had to go to an exterior service and bring them in but at Emeritus they have people there that do that and they also have hospice care there so essentially my father would never have had to leave there. That would have been great but my mother had friends that were in another place so she was more familiar and comfortable with that.

Best overall

reviewed on: 08/14/2013 by Victor

We're very happy with them. I would say the values gotta be pretty decent but we've never spend this kind of money before and its certainly more expensive than living at home. My mom just said she went out to a luau this past week and said she had a blast. She's going out to lunch a couple of times a week; now she's eating more meals than she's ever eaten before and she's really enjoying being there. Their director, Kari Webster, I got along with her very well, I liked the atmosphere as well and all of the other categories were reasons why we chose Emeritus. The value compared to the other finalist was better so we would be able to keep her there longer and its also more centrally located to us family members and we don't have to drive as far.
