OVERALL GREAT FACILITYreviewed on: 10/23/2013 by Robin
What makes FMS great is Mom loves. The staff is generally receptive to what needs to be done. The small number of residents in assisted living is a big benefit.
Attentive staffreviewed on: 11/30/2020 by Anonymous
We chose Foulk Manor South because my mom was familiar with the facility due to her line of work. The room sizes were great and adequate for what his needs were. The food did seem to be good, there were no complaints. I think the daytime staff did a really good job with caring for my dad and they were very attentive but there were some difficulties with overnight staff. Overall, we had a good experience here.

They don't nickle and dime you to death.reviewed on: 12/05/2013 by Family
It's been pretty good for the most part. There has been kind of an issue as to being diagnosed with dementia and when I toured they thought she would be a candidate for assisted living but the staff seems to be having a difficult time with that. They don't nickle and dime you to death, I only pay extra for landry and hairdresser and I would expect to pay extra for those things. Everything is included cable and meals, snacks everything. Mom is not very cooperative and when she asks them to leave the room they do and they need to push a little more with her and they are working on that. They have a lot of activities to do plenty of things. They have an activites candar with happy hour or music or trips to the library that type of thing. It is smaller and more intimate, they had empty rooms but they weren't desperate and trying to grab anybody they could and they were very accommodating. Communication between staff and us is the only area where they could improve.

Loved their approach and philosophy, memory support unit was an uninspiring white hallway. Access to an enclosed garden and community room.
