Love the Lorelton!
reviewed on: 09/04/2019 by JoJoMy mom is living at the and it's perfect for her. The rooms are all so bright and sunny with the big windows. She can close her door for privacy, yet she's not alone. At the push of a button she can get help. She loves the food and loves the staff there. I love them too! There so kind and patient with both of us and more than helpful going above and beyond. Mom does not participate in activities (yet, I hope), but rated them a 5 based on the list of activities and our experiences at the Lorelton.
Overall a very nice place!
reviewed on: 08/11/2015 by AnonymousOverall I think they do a very good job at Lorelton! In terms of the accommodations, activities, and staff I would have to give them a 5! However, the care services they offer are not very comprehensive, you still have to take care of a lot of things like doctor visits yourself. But what they DO provide here is all very nice. The apartments are clean, nice looking, and a good size. The people here are active and social, and seem to keep themselves busy. They also have a very good meal service, and family members are welcome to join the resident for a small fee. Overall it is a very nice not-for-profit senior commuity, I would recommend them!
Enjoyed My Tour
reviewed on: 07/26/2016 by AnonymousI toured this community for my mother. It was a nice tour, this is a lovely community. They staff was very informative and answered my questions. From what I saw the community is well maintained. I really enjoyed my tour, but it just wasn't the place for my mother.
A Comfortable Place with a Home-Like Atmosphere
reviewed on: 09/29/2021 by Loretta CMy mother has lived at the Lorelton for nearly seven years. I am most impressed because staff members not only know my mother very well, but many also recognize me. They keep me informed about any medical issues that arise. They have always been willing to talk to and meet with me when I've had questions. Mom has a comfortable apartment. She's made friends. She enjoys going to the movies and attending the musical performances by outside groups. The Lorelton offers many other activities, too, including crafts, exercise classes, and games. I think staff members do their best to make the Lorelton a comfortable place with a home-like atmosphere.
