The Lorelton is a treasure, caring staff and warm, friendly environment
reviewed on: 10/16/2019 by Alcy FrelickOur mother lived at the Lorelton for three years prior to her passing in September 2019. Over that time, the Lorelton truly became her home. She had a lovely one bedroom apartment which gave her a space to call her own with beautiful windows and a homey feel. She could safely walk in the hallways for exercise or go to the library or courtyard. An eclectic array of couches and chairs in the hallways gave her options to stop and rest, and maybe pick up a book to peruse - making the common areas feel homelike and inviting. The fabulous, friendly staff would pop in to offer a snack or provide help just to make sure everything was fine. The gracious dining room and catering staff offered tasty options and provided some memorable special event banquets and happy hours. I never went to visit without feeling welcome by every employee. Most impressive were her final days when we stayed by her side and found the staff also caring for our needs while providing truly loving care to our mother. One assistant said she only wanted to care for her the ways she would for her own mother. Numerous Lorelton employees popped in to see our mother and to tell us little stories. Other residents also embraced us with interested comments and smiles and hugs. When it is my time to find a safe place, the Lorelton would be high on my list. What a treasure. Thank you to each and every one who makes it a warm and inviting home for the residents, a good place to visit, and what appears to be a good supportive team for those who work there!

The staff is friendly and the residents seemed happy and well cared for. The facility was clean and we are eternally grateful for their generosity!!
