Community Reviews
They seem to be very good.
reviewed on: 11/03/2014 by AnonymousThe only issue so far is that they haven't got our phones hooked up yet, but they are remodeling still so hopefully that will get done soon. Other than that, they seem to be very good. Everyone is friendly, and they take good care. She loves the food and gets plenty of it. I did order her a paper and someone comes along and snatches it before she can get to it, every now and then.
Didn't like their choice of TV shows for dementia patients
reviewed on: 10/16/2016 by AnonymousI visited when I was looking for someplace for my dad. They told me that most residents (even those not in the memory care unit) have some level of dementia, and I think the facilities and the staff are set up properly for that. The management seemed very educated on issues with dementia and the CNAs seemed pleasant, but I didn't see anyone interacting with the residents. What turned me off was the TV programs they were watching in the main area. Soap operas and news is what I saw, for people with dementia (which seemed to be everyone in the living room)? They say that people vote on what channel to watch, and I don't see how that can possibly result in appropriate shows for those who can't really express themselves. Things I choose for my dad have simple plots and sometimes some sort of physical comedy. He would zone out complete with soap operas and news.
Where have you guys been all my life?

So Far Everything Is Well
reviewed on: 06/29/2016 by AnonymousSo far everything is working out very well for my mother. They are taking good care of her and her needs. It is a nice looking community, from what I've seen everything looks clean and neat. They have a great staff here, and Jeffrey the assisted director is amazing and very supportive. She is trying a few activities. Overall I know she is safe and receiving great care. I would recommend this community.
The Greatest Assisted Living place
reviewed on: 12/02/2016 by Banks OrtizRegal was an amazing place. At first I was a little hesitant as I pulled up in the parking lot. It is back down a long street off of 2 major thoroughfares. Once inside I didn't want to leave. I even stayed for the singing that was going on. This place is ALIVE and every one -workers and patients are so happy. Many workers came up to me and introduced themselves. Even some patients talked to me. Not one person was dirty our smelled of urine. I couldn't believe it. I even saw the director hugging and kisses the patients. You can tell they are loved, when she hugged one many started yelling for her. It was a very happy thing to experience. The rooms were spotless, this place felt like home. When I got in my car I didn't have that pee smell on me that I had when I saw other places. My mom will be moving in to this place in January. The building is old but it looks great and the most important thing to me is the love the caretakers gave to their patience. I 100% recommend this place over any Taj mahal!
