Community Reviews
Lynmoore
reviewed on: 08/29/2017 by AnonymousWhen first dealing with them they were top notch, once dad got in everything settled into place. Times are well over 30 minutes when red buttons are pushed I have witnessed first hand numerous times. Getting things put on a priority does not seem to be the normal. But as I have found out this is the case with any facility.
Best place we have found
reviewed on: 09/03/2020 by Rose ShilladayMy mother is in the Memory Care Unit at the Lynmoore at Lawnwood. It is by far the best of the four places we have had experience with since Mom's diagnosis in 2012. The management staff, namely Jenna, Stephanie and Ashley have been wonderful to work with this entire time. They are warm and friendly and all have a very professional demeanor. They have Mom's best interest at heart in dealing with any request or decision made on her behalf. Mom interacts directly with Joy, Sophia and Annabel in the Memory Care Unit. We can tell that Mom is comfortable with them and they have all taken to each other. They have a way of interacting with her kindly and gently. Everyone has smiles on their faces and never forgets to greet us when we have the opportunity to visit. We have never felt fearful when leaving from a visit as we know she is being well taken care of. I would highly recommend the Lynmoore at Longwood for anyone considering help for their loved one.
Happy my mom is there
reviewed on: 03/31/2021 by BarbaraOur loved one is thriving there, we can see them doing activities through the windows. We know she is happy there. Even during covid where it was difficult we found this community was 10 times better then our loved ones previous community. Even the receptionist is great.

The kitchen takes the time to meet the residents needs all the time. The wait staff are very patient and so kind hearted. The Chef always seems to go above and beyond. She is a asset to your company. The nursing department could step it up a little but for now I'am happy with her care. The front desk always is so nice to me and my family. The activities are one of a kind. The Director is always going out of her way and she has two other woman that work with her what a GREAT team. Im happy to know that my mom gets a hug or a kiss or just conversation. The entertaining that Your Activities Director puts on is top shelf im thinking New York..... in my book she really seems to enjoy her job and the residents. Your company should be proud to have such amazing staff. Keep it up Lynmoore....
Our experience so far
reviewed on: 04/26/2021 by Judith BAll of the staff members have been great, there has not been one person who is not social, they always greet us and say hi when passing down the hallways. Just from speaking with our loved one and other residents the food seems to be okay. It is not the best but not the worst, and it does seem like they are starting to bring back a few activities.
