Great Communityreviewed on: 03/31/2016 by Anonymous
I am happy with the choice to move too Emerald Park I really like it so far. It is a very clean and well maintained community and house keeping come and clean my room through out the week. Everyone here is wonderful and very kind to me. The residents are sweet and helped me learn my way around. They do serve a well balanced meal. I enjoy reading in my room, but I did notice the community does offer activities through out the week for the residents. I am comfortable here and would recommend for anyone to take a look at this place.
Really Cleanreviewed on: 12/03/2013 by Husband
You walk in and they are really nice. they don't smell or anything. I didn't decide against it, I just went one time and when it came time to move I had more recently visited another place. It was nice and clean.
A view aspect they could improve onreviewed on: 11/19/2015 by Anonymous
Our experience with Emerald Park Retirement has been somewhat mixed. Overall they do a fairly good job, but there are a few things that would make the experience much better. To start, we usually have to really stay on top of them and ask multiple times before maintenance requests are carried out. I also think they could really stand to improve the response times when the residents call for movement or care assistance. Lastly my loved one hasn't had anything good to say about the food.
Not Right for My Motherreviewed on: 11/27/2013 by Daughter
Well, it was OK when she was there the first time, but then I made an appointment for a second respite almost a month in advance and the day before I was supposed to bring her they called and said that they didn't have a place. They fixed me up with their sister community, but my mom refused to move there, so we had to take her home with us. Other that that, it is very nice. The rooms are very clean and very wonderful. The people are very nice. It really wasn't appropriate for my mom, anyways, because she needs more attention than she could get at Emerald Park. They do not have a secure entrance to the regular building, and she HATED the Alzheimer's unit. She was cooped up and got very depressed. Not the right place for my mother.
So far things have been going good.reviewed on: 02/11/2016 by Anonymous
So far things have been going good. There have been no major complaints. It's still new, but so far it's working out. I would give them a four at this point.
