This is a wonderful retire community. Everyone gets the proper individual care. Caregivers are doing a good job and specific wishes are mostly attended to. Thank you to the Selfhelp staff who always try do their best.

I've been to Self Help a few times to visit residents on the Jewish holidays. This community has been around for a long time and is one of the few that has Kosher kitchens. Regular Shabbat services are available and they mulitple care levels from independent retirement to assisted living and more.
Not a good placereviewed on: 01/07/2018 by Natalie
Worst place the dining room is freezing in the winter time, the food is absolutely terrible and the kitchen manager will not even listen to resident complaints. I am shocked this is considered a five star it deserves not even 1 star. They only care about filling rooms and after that the service is down right terrible. They lie and lie about everything. Half of the apartments don't even have adequate heat they give a small heater to plug in that barely works. They have one nurse who is lazy and barely checks on the residents.
