Review of Allisonville Meadows Assisted Living
reviewed on: 08/26/2020 by Nelda JonesAppreciated one family member being able to go in and set up apartment in time given. Also, the short time given to mask and sanitize hands to move our mother's clothes and other items in on move-in day. Grateful for distanced indoor visitation and masks inside facility during the heat. Appreciate all our senior advisors did to help us understand all the health test requirements, etc. needed prior to moving in with an out of state move for our mother. Would like to see our mother in more distanced activities allowed by COVID guidelines. Mom likes her meals, the staff, but needs to meet people to not feel lonely.

Allisonville Meadows is very welcoming
reviewed on: 10/18/2019 by Michelle Del BustoMy mom moved in the first of July. We have had a wonderful experience. The staff, Cathy and Carrie, before hand were so informative and kept in touch with me constantly. Cathy did not hesitate to answer my questions at any time, this means in the evening, on the weekend and even when on vacation. Carrie was very helpful and recognized me as well as greeted by name when I arrived for tours prior to move in. The staff has been welcoming to my mom and the activities director makes a point to get her involved. She is comfortable here and with her mild alzheimers is getting along fine in the traditional assisted living setting so far. The only improvement I see needed is with the dining staff. I know this position probably has high turnover and is difficult to hire for and is probably the reason why the staff is not considerate of the older residents that may need more help.
Nice looking community, spacious rooms
reviewed on: 02/10/2014 by Loved oneOverall I think they do a good job here. It's a nice looking community, and it is generally clean and well kept. The rooms are a good size, and we like that there are doors into a courtyard type area. They could use a bit more greenery outside to make sitting in the courtyard more pleasant. The care and activities are both areas where they could use a bit of work. They are a brand new community, only open a few months, and I feel like they are still settling into their routines.
Family Oriented and Great Value
reviewed on: 10/07/2021 by M EI would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. They have a good value for what you are getting. The staff are nice and reasonably responsive with any questions I may have when I call.
