RRI the place to go or send your loved ones to go to Enjoy The Golden Years that you owe to Yourselfreviewed on: 03/06/2021 by Karin DURAND
RR 1 is a beautiful sorta all-inclusive riverside Seniors hot spot. Everyone is so helpful, patient, gentle and friendly. All residents are treated with kindness and dignity. Professional etiquette and confidentiality are taken very seriously. Since our mom has been living at RR 1 our stress levels have been reduced significantly. We know that she is safe and well taken care of in a stimulating, loving environment supporting her physical and emotional needs. They also have an open door policy. Mom loves being around so many people in her age range who share common interests and life experiences. RR 1 is the place to live to enjoy your "Golden Years" Our parents have gave up so much for us and it's time for them to enjoy some of their hard earned money being catered to and enjoying an easier fun-filled life in a resort-like estate like they have at RR !. Our mom has found her " Happy Place" and your loved ones will agree if they move in. Call Renee today to see for yourself!

So far everything is working out well for my father in law here. We know he is safe and in good hands. The staff is great, they have been very helpful and responsive to our concerns. There are many activities offered for him to try when he is ready. He is pleased with the food, we know he is eating good. We are comfortable with the care they are providing him. I would recommend this facility.
Posh But...reviewed on: 08/14/2019 by Vangurl
This place was beautifully situated on the river, with a spectacular view from the dining room and suites that faced the river (expensive). Staff was excellent and there seemed to be lots of activities to engage in. What I found troubling was that the residents did not seem too happy and I was not greeted by any of the residents from River Ridge I or II. This was in sharp contrast to 2 other residences that I visited.
Overall, very pleased with all aspects of River Ridge 1!!!reviewed on: 02/27/2021 by Rennie K
My father has been a resident at River Ridge 1 since 2014. Overall our interaction with all staff has been very positive. The staff are always helpful and friendly even while they are having to deal with difficult situations at times (especially during the Pandemic). The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Since there isn't the opportunity to give a 1/2 star rating, I have given meals/dining and value for cost a 4 star rating but I really feel they deserve 4 1/2 stars. My father has been very happy with living at River Ridge 1 and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this facility to those looking for a new, secure and safe home!
RR1 reviewreviewed on: 10/21/2020 by Bill
I’ve lived at RR1 for a year and a half and thank God I’m leaving on Nov 1rst. The food served is processed and not healthy for seniors (not like depicted on TV commercial). The nursing care (depicted on TV commercial) is non existent. It’s a lie. The management is poor and does not provide good communication to residents or family members? I’ve witnessed and reported abuse by the Executive Director but it was quickly never dealt with? If you have direct payment for rent pay attention to your bill as RR1 will charge you anything they want without your permission. Did it to me? When you move out(or deceased) they will assess damages without you and have to get approval from head office ( in Toronto) taking weeks!? They’ll take you money quickly but don’t act that way when you move out? Nice residents but to bad their care and money aren’t considered.
