Every time I visit we spend most of our time talking about the outstanding staff that you have.
reviewed on: 08/17/2017 by ChuckTDear Hart Heritage family: I just returned home from my bi-weekly visits with my sister Eve, and I thought I should share some comments that she made during our visit. Since Eve moved in, I have been trying to get down to see her at least twice a month, and it is a two and a half hour drive to get there, but it is so necessary for me to see her. Every time I visit we spend most of our time talking about the outstanding staff that you have. There is not one person on your staff who does not go out of his or her way to make sure that Eve is comfortable, which is not an easy task because she is pretty much relying on people to take care of her since she can't do much herself. You have no idea how reassuring it is for me, living so far away, to know that she is being cared for and that she respects those who are doing a very difficult job. I wish I could remember everyone's name that she mentions, because each individual needs his or her own recognition, but with each visit it seems that the list gets longer. As I said, I know Eve demands a huge amount of attention, but every time she asks something of someone, her request is dealt with immediately and always with a smile... I really cannot see how people can be so accommodating, so sincerely accommodating. While I was there today, one girl checked in on her twice to make sure she was doing okay! So to avoid getting too sappy, I will close here, but I do want to thank you and your staff for removing worries from a very concerned brother. I know we are asking a lot of you, and I thank you for not only stepping up to the challenge but also exceeding it.
Exceptional Care: Family of resident Dan O. Caulk
reviewed on: 11/17/2015 by Bruce, David, Brian, Kevin and entire Caulk Family11/8/2015 To Mr. Joe and Everyone at Hart Heritage Estates, Forest Hill. On behalf of the family of Daniel O. Caulk. We would like to personally thank you and praise all of you for the exceptional care you provided for our father the past several years. Before taking residence at Hart Heritage, Dan was residing at Oak Crest. When his needs required constant assistance, we searched 3 or more facilities before visiting Hart Heritage. Our first impression was wonderful. In time we realized this was the best we could do for Dad. Everyone from the administration, health and personal care, as well as the kitchen, cleaning & maintenance staff were always considerate, caring and friendly. A real feeling of family, friendship and sincerity to the care of others, in our opinion was unsurpassed. Also, we would like to acknowledge the wound care specialist, Ms. Donna Baker, Dr. Alfred Sparks, U.C.H and the hospice care from Amedisys for their care in times of additional comfort and needs. Please use these word as a testimonial to the highest quality, care, concern and dignity that your exceptional facility provided to our father. In closing, we wish you all the best for many years to come in the care of others love ones. With heartfelt gratitude, appreciation and Best regards, Bruce, David, Brian, Kevin and The Entire Caulk Family. P.S. "Caring for people in need is the greatest human compassion that can be bestowed on oneself and ALL of you should be proud of what you do for the loved ones of others!" Thank you again, Kevin Caulk
Beautiful living area
reviewed on: 08/13/2020 by Susan LangbeenThey provide a foot doctor, a primary care doctor that is on call and visits. Some activities they have are bingo, arts and crafts, a person that comes in and provides music entertainment, they also provide church services once a week. The have different sizes rooms, my parents are in a 22 X 20 room. They have two nice windows in it. They provide the bedding to the residents. Some of the rooms have a bathroom inside. For those who don't have a bathroom in their bedroom, it would be right down the hall. The food kind of reminds us of hospital food, but overall pretty good. The food is well prepared. They give different options to those residents who don't like the food they are serving that day. We liked the way it looked and they way it smelled. It always smelled good there. Its very pretty in the lobby, there is a lot of decorations. Somewhat upper class decorations. The residents can also walk out to a big patio area with tables and benches.

Staff is courteous, professional and caring
reviewed on: 04/18/2019 by Alice M.My mother has been at Hart Heritage for around a year now, and our family is very happy with the care and support mom receives here. The staff is courteous, professional, and caring. The facility is clean overall and moms room is well maintained. We always have a family member with mom at least three times a week. Mom is 91 and they treat her very well and include her in daily activities. She eats pretty good for her age. Her health is looked after by the nurses and they answer any questions we have and they show us they care. I like that they try to provide a well rounded activity for the residents, We receive a newsletter and the family is asked for any input to the both the newsletter and activities. Mom loves the bingo and the rosary meeting that is offered. Our family would definitely recommend this facility for an elderly family member. The staff in the dining area and kitchen are very friendly and look after mom if she is not eating, they have even substituted a meal if she did not like what they were serving. The maintenance staff is also good. I also love housekeeping once my mom s blanket was missing and housekeeping searched another floor and they found it. No big thing but they showed they cared.
