They had studios or one bedroom apart...
reviewed on: 12/27/2012 by A Place For Mom CustomerThey had studios or one bedroom apartments. The facilities were a bit older than other I looked at. No skilled nursing available, so that wouldn't work for mom. There is assisted living downstairs with some odor. But i guess that is expected(?).
Very Nice
reviewed on: 07/11/2013 by VisitorSpringvale Terrace is a great community that was closer and more convenient for me, but my loved one wanted to stay in the neighborhood he lived in for 40 years. The location is really good and the price was incredibly reasonable. This community had a lot to offer for the price they are charging. Overall it was a very nice and well maintained community that I would have selected for my loved one, but they decided to be at a different community.

It's a nice looking, clean community, and they seem to be taking good care of my loved one. The staff have all been very friendly and helpful throughout the whole process.
Not appropriate for those with care needs
reviewed on: 08/07/2015 by AnonymousWe had a mixed experience with Springvale Terrace. I think the facility itself is very nice looking, and it is in a beautiful area. However, I do not think they are equipped to handle anyone with any sort of care needs. They just feel understaffed and untrained for any sort of care concerns. I didn't feel my loved one was being looked after properly. However, it would probably be a good choice for anyone with higher functioning loved ones.

reviewed on: 05/10/2015 by M...Cost wise, it's affordable for Seniors with a fixed income of Social Security and a pension compared to other Senior living residences. If you are more independent, the cost per month is cheaper, which is a good thing. Great location in downtown Silver Spring. The food services segment needs the most improvement with food selections, portions, and resident attentiveness and awareness in the Dining area and meal deliveries.
