Review of Willow Springs Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center
reviewed on: 08/07/2019 by AnonymousThe physical therapy people were sensitive to my needs and where I was at. The staff went out of their way to help me. The nursing care was excellent, they were very attentive. Except for the weekend nurses. They were in almost every day washing or sweeping my floor. I loved the cook. I even talked to one of the dietitians and let them know the breakfasts are good and the lunches are very good, but they fell off the table with the dinners. The dinners were okay, they weren't bad but it was the least of the three meals. Communication was excellent except for the weekend.

reviewed on: 07/25/2019 by AnonymousMy loved one has been at Willow Springs for a short time now and so far we are very happy with the experience. She has been in a number of facilities and Willow Springs is by far the most compassionate facility. The staff takes a lot of initiative and they even make suggestions which is what we need. The nursing care is excellent. There is one nurse that went above and beyond I just met her the other day I wish I could remember her name. My dad always mentions her as being so good to my mother. They have excellent communication!

reviewed on: 10/29/2019 by AnonymousMy experience was okay. I had a real problem with dietary. There was also some miscommunication, especially in the first few days. Once they realized why I was actually there it was fine. This whole situation made me aggravated. The communication was poor at first. Once everything was cleared up and they realized I could be more independent it was better.

reviewed on: 11/27/2018 by AnonymousI am very happy with the facility so far. I feel good having my mother there and know that she is being taken care of. The staff is exceptional, very friendly, and just overall there to help! The therapy services are great here! The staff has brought me such a feeling of security. They really go out of their way to do a good job for their patients! Oh my gosh - the place is phenomenal! It is so well kept and beautiful. I really do not have anything to complain about in any way. The only suggestion I have would be to maybe have a clearer schedule in terms of when the therapy takes place.

reviewed on: 11/27/2018 by AnonymousSo far, everything is going the best that it possibly can. They are already getting her involved in activities and helping her during this transition especially with her diagnosis. I have been impressed with the facility so far. She is doing the occupational therapies at this time. She is eating which is good because at times with her diagnosis she can have difficulty doing so. They actually reached out to me today trying to get more information about my sister that would help her stay there. They also asked if it was okay to reach out to me on a quarterly basis to update me on how she is doing unless something out of the ordinary would occur and they would reach out to me sooner.
