Wonderful community and staff
reviewed on: 08/22/2021 by Connie M.My mother has been at Spring Oak for several years now -- and much of that time has been through the COVID pandemic. Trying times to be sure, but everyone stayed safe -- and we were comforted by the effort the staff put into keeping the residents connected to their families as much as possible. However, during the time before and after the COVID lockdowns, there are many community activities, a number of which include the families. And even during the lockdown, the staff was sure to stay connected to the residents. I don't want to dwell on the pandemic because there is so much else to talk about. For instance, the staff is very proactive and responsive to concerns about the residents' health. The staff sees each resident multiple times per day in Assisted Living. We have also found the team at Spring Oak to be very courteous and caring to the residents and their families, showing genuine concern for the well being of the residents.

The community is outstanding and very clean and neat. They were very patient and accommodating to us during the whole process. My mom says she is doing all the activities so she is pretty busy most of the time. The food is nice its a well balanced meal. This is a close to perfect community and I would recommend it.

reviewed on: 02/10/2017 by AnonymousThe Spring Oak at Toms River was a very nice facility, but it was too big. When I went in to take a tour, I couldn't even find the elevator. It was too much going on for my mother I wanted some place smaller and easier to get around.
