Community Reviews
We Liked This the Best
reviewed on: 08/16/2017 by AnonymousMy wife is very happy being apart of the assisted living community. They are taking care of her and they got her involved in some different types of therapy. The food is excellent. I eat with her twice a week and we enjoy the meals very much. We were looking for a one bedroom but we got a deluxe studio instead. There was not an available one bedroom at the time.
Mom’s new home
reviewed on: 01/24/2019 by Claude GerstenhaberMy 92 yo mom arrived at the Bristal a few months ago after having lived in the city for the last 50 years. Everyone there made the transition as comfortable as possible for her. The facilities, food, services activities and staff are all wonderful. I have peace of mind that she is in the best of hands.
Perfect home for dad
reviewed on: 06/23/2018 by RuthOur family is pleased with the care and accommodations my dad receives at Bristal-Sayville. It's a difficult decision and he was initially adamant about not leaving his house. Once he experienced the attention and beauty of Bristal it all changed. He's not only happier but his health is improving too. I'm so grateful to Denise, Pamela and the whole staff for his care and patience.
The Bristal at Sayville Thoughts
reviewed on: 12/30/2019 by Dean BrunoAfter interacting with Denise Milligan at the Bristal since June of 2019, my 81 year old mom became a resident at the Bristal in Sayville in mid December of this year. I did an extensive search of assisted living facilities over the last 6 months, and I found that Denise was extremely personable and easy to interact with. After taking a tour of the facility, I knew that my mom would do well in terms socialization, medication management, hydration, nutrition, along with the help necessary with various activities of daily living. The staff at the Bristal has been extremely friendly and and they can relate to what my family and I are going through. I highly recommend that the Bristal at Sayville be considered as an assisted living facility.
I LOVE the Bristal
reviewed on: 11/21/2014 by Lisa D.I can't say enough about the Bristal. My mother was one of the very first residents to move in. She is in the memory care portion, known as "reflections", for people with dementia. She absolutely loves it and is thriving. The person who met with me when it was under construction was very experienced and knowledgable, helped me in every way possible, even comforting me about the stress my family was under! I work in a similar facility that is much higher priced and I like the Bristal much better. It definitely won't be in every person's budget though. The staff is uniformly wonderful. They are compassionate, kind and talented, bringing art and music programs and joy. The facility is beautiful. But I know that my mother is in good hands. I trust these staff members implicitly. We are very happy.
