reviewed on: 02/06/2016 by Nancy BAfter being very unhappy and even concerned about the care of my loved one at some fancy facility, I started a search for a safer home. One that cared for the residents more than their profit line. My prayers were answered when I got a call from Lynn at A Place for Mom. She listened to all my concerns and needs and led me to Mountian View Assisted Living. I have never seen such care, professionalism, needs addressed, cleanliness, and the true caring and love for each and every resident. The whole staff cares for each resident as a single person and their needs and wants, which is usually different from another. I can not express enough the relief I have now knowing my loved one will spend her last days with not only her needs met, but surrounded with true caring and love.

reviewed on: 10/14/2017 by JessicaI visited the facility after hours and have no idea about activities or care so can't rate that. The price is the best in the area, hands down. It was clean. However, the old building, tired furniture, low ceilings, no carpet gave the facility a tired institutional feel. After you've visited a few places, you can tell right away if the feeling of the place is light and joyful. That's not easy to find. And the physical environment is not always a reflection of the level of care, which I couldn't verify. They were eating dinner which seemed well organized.

reviewed on: 06/06/2018 by AnonymousAvoid this place like poison. Negligence abounds at every turn. Inexperienced aides that have no idea what to do or how to do it. Half the residents had some kind of bruising mostly in facial areas including my mother who suffered a fall due to faulty recliners in the common area. I have no idea why they have not been shut down yet. Don't go near this place.

The director of this place is the most UNCARING cruel person I have ever met. She has NO compassion for these patients. I am trying to get my Mother out of this facility before she dies due to the lack of care. Since I reported this facility my Mother has been abused. It's heart breaking to see these patients with bedsores and burses. DSS does not care and feel all is ok. It's sad no one cares in our government as I have reported this facility several times. Please be careful if your loved one is in this facility.
Facility Needs Major Updating
reviewed on: 11/29/2018 by Rebecca McCarthyFacilty Director lacks compassion for the patient's. Families are Discouraged from being involved with their loved one. The facility is very understaff. The facility Director needs to treat all the patients/residents with dignity. Facilty is very rundown.
