GREAT PLACE!!! We are worki...
reviewed on: 08/11/2013 by A Place For Mom CustomerGREAT PLACE!!! We are working to see what we can afford for Mom before we can make a decision. Hopefully this will be the one! Emeritus is well staffed and we met most everyone there. VERY friendly!
So far, so good...
reviewed on: 07/21/2017 by AnonymousMy wife is receiving the good care since her move, she is having a hard time adjusting though. The staff is doing their job and taking good care of her, we have had no problems with the way she is being treated. The meals are very good, I have had 2 meals there they were very good.
Very helpful head nurse
reviewed on: 09/18/2013 by ClaudiaI know we were very impressed with the head nurse. She was very, very willing to help us kind of reach out because we needed to get mom up from medical transport for Florida and she was willing to use her contacts to help us. We had no idea how to go about it. I think they were the cottage set up which wasn't what we were shooting for for mom.
So Happy we shopped around!
reviewed on: 11/11/2018 by Mary KrempelWith smaller units in a cluster, I feel my Mom is getting plenty of attention and help. There is Always a staff member in-house, 24/7 Meals are very good, Mother raves all the time how much food is offered and how well-prepared. If you call a day ahead you can request to eat with your family member, no charge. Clergy comes Sunday to distribute Holy Communion. Many residents go out to the local churches. Facility owns a bus, so they can take residents shopping or out for a special meal. I have not met one staff member Yet who falls below my expectations, and we've been there 7 months. There's of course an up-charge for them to administer Mom's medications 4x a day but that is so totally worth it for her well-being, AND My Peace of Mind. All cottages are beautiful, fresh, very clean, with comfortable seating areas for families. Activities are bountiful, many of them can include families. If you haven't walked in and looked around yet, please do so - you will feel so much better about the decisions your family needs to make.
Good care and comfortable environment.
reviewed on: 04/19/2016 by Robert GrayMy parents just moved to Brookdale. So far the attention, oversight and care has been great. The cottage environment is intimate and feels like home, the food is good and accommodations are very fine.
