Masonic Village at Elizabethtown services and surroundings
reviewed on: 08/06/2018 by AnonymousI love it here at Masonic Village Elizabethtown! My first specific experience that drives my opinion happened the during the first week after I moved in. I went outside to take a picture of the front porch with my new welcome mat and locked myself out. I called the switchboard operator and they sent a security officer within five minutes! While waiting for that, I called the operator again to ask for help with the flattened cardboard moving boxes and packing paper piling up in my garage. I was transferred to the housekeeping supervisor who responded: "Could I send a truck right away?" I almost fainted with pleasure from that. The truck came five minutes after the the security officer and that pickup of cardboard and paper process happened several more times until I finished unpacking. Other than the service, my cottage and the overall physical surroundings are beautiful and continuously well kept.
The best is yet to come.

Satified resident
reviewed on: 09/10/2019 by BillyWe have been a resident for approx 7 months and had visited other places in the area. We decided that Masonic Village is where we wanted to be. Since our move in we have not been disappointed at all. On property medical center, great meals, great entertainment. There has not been one concern that has not been promply solved. Every one should become familiar with Masonic Village before making a choice.
Resort Living
reviewed on: 10/13/2015 by EtownhappyWe have lived in a cottage here for over three years. We love resort living!! Every day is carefree. If your toilet is making a strange noise, you call Maintenance and within fifteen minutes, someone appears, fixes it, and leaves with a smile. And the best part--there's no bill to pay! The residents are friendly, the activities offered are varied and many, and the staff is pleasant and helpful. The campus is beautiful; the landscaping staff amazing. Finally, snow is so beautiful when you don't have to do your own shoveling!
One size does not fit all! So we have a wide variety of living arrangements! And seemingly countless activities....
reviewed on: 09/06/2019 by JinnyThere is quite a variety of life-styles available here. I chose a one-bedroom apartment knowing that I'd want a private place, but I also want to feel that there are people near by. My apartment is in a building that connects me with three restaurants, the post office, a library, countless meeting rooms and activity spaces, through an underground walkway. I never had to put on a coat or boots over the winter, or use an umbrella during a rainstorm! I've met so many delightful people at programs and activities, and at meals! I could eat alone, if I were feeling isolationist, but I choose to be seated with "strangers" in order to make new friends. When I open my windows, I hear the Chapel bells from time to time -- a special treat. The ease and pleasantness of this retirement living is very special. And I know that if my health fails, there are facilities and delightful/competent people to help as much or as little as needed. Did I mention the very good food?
