A homey family-type environmentreviewed on: 11/06/2020 by Carol Cornelius
We chose Ventura Hills because they were able to provide us with the exact number we would be paying, the overall appearance of the facility (it is in a very pretty area), it is a smaller community so 1 on 1 care is better, they really treat them like family here. The room sizes here are bigger than what she came from and it is adequate for her needs. The best part about the community so far has been the location, it is very close to us and it is just such a pleasing environment. All of the residents seem very happy here and we are impressed with Ventura Hills. It is also such a safe place for my mom during COVID because I see how they do everything and I do not have to worry.
We really like this place!!reviewed on: 08/25/2016 by Anonymous
My loved one is in the memory care unit at this community. The staff are caring and have taken a personal interest in him. The food is good and they offer a good variety. The only issue I have is with the billing. The community is clean and I would recommend it.
Things are going pretty well.reviewed on: 03/22/2016 by Anonymous
Things are going pretty well. The people are just excellent and very cooperative. They have good activities. They are really good about working with us and making sure he is ready. It's been a pretty good experience.
Courteous Staff!!reviewed on: 10/24/2016 by Anonymous
My parents seem to be really liking the variety of meals that are offered at this community, there are many healthy options as well as an alternate menu for the residents to choose from if they are dissatisfied with what is being served. I do think that there could be some improvements on the staffing , they often seem very overwhelmed and short staff.
A tour for mom's carereviewed on: 07/20/2017 by Anonymous
We toured this community and we liked the staff that answered the questions we had on the care that is offered. We liked the list of the activities that we offered. We did not like the environment and it did not have the feeling that my mom was looking for. We would recommend that other families tour this community for the care of family member.
