Community Reviews

Four stars

They were able to take care of my loved one and they also provided a good care service for him so we could have a better understanding to take care of him when he got back home. Four - star rating overall.

Very accomodating, tried to address our needs

It was a good place, my mother really enjoyed the recreation program and the recreation people, she really participated in those. I think the staff overall were pretty good and when she brought up a problem it was rectified. My mother had broken her hip and was wheelchair bound, she had to be transported and her issues was after dinner, she was left next to last; so my sister took it up with the administrator and it was handled. Obviously, the people always complained about the food, 3 times a day, the food is the main thing to do. She couldn't chew her vegetables, it wasn't a major thing and she cleaned her plate so you have to take that with a grain of salt. One issue, and I think it's true for other assisted livings, my mother was going to have to stay there long term, she didn't know that yet, but our biggest issues was, if you're wheelchair bound, you can't get out of your room yourself. There's no push pad which surprised us, they should have a couple of wheelchair acessible rooms, but you have to pay for an escort service and that was a little frustrating. You can't come and go as you please, it just seems, in general, assisted living should have that available which would have made her happier.

It seemed very nice, but, again, it was pretty far from home for visiting.

A nice community for care

reviewed on: 08/26/2017 by Anonymous

We toured this community for my father. We liked the staff. The community was clean and they have a lot of different buildings for the residents. My father wanted a bigger room than what was available at the time needed. We would recommend this community from what we saw from this nice tour.

Very friendly attentive staff

I would want other to know that this facility does not provide any linens or things such as soap and diapers, so you will need to provide that for your loved one. They have an outdoor porch area where residents are able to visit with their loved ones even during COVID and they still have bingo and other activities that they are keeping residents busy during the virus. The staff members have been very accommodating to my mothers routine and always call whenever anything happens, they are great at communication. It is always the same staff members who take care of the residents, so I know them and they know their residents very well. Overall, we have had a good experience so far.
