A tour for care

reviewed on: 01/18/2017 by Anonymous

We toured this community and we were happy with the cleanliness. The staff were nice but seemed pro occu[ied. The food menu was appealing and the variety of activities would have been a good choice for my parents if they wanted to be active. I suggest a tour for families wanting a nice place for a loved one.

Very nice but......

Very nice facility but I think they are a bit understaffed . I was told the staffing would be 4 to 1, but it seems like maybe 6 to 1. Most of the staff are competent , well trained and kind.

The Clayton Oaks Living was a beautiful community, but we could not afford it. It is a brand new facility, very fancy. The staff was all very accommodating and friendly. The tour guide answered our questions and gave us good information.

Decent Home

My loved one started off in the assisted living, and then moved to memory care after about 5 years. All the ratings are combined for both the assisted and memory care unit. If your loved one is going in under assisted living, and able to function for themselves. You won't have an issue with a community. The community states they have memory care assistance, and it is for the basic memory care for assistance. If your loved one needs assistance on daily living activities, I won't rate this community very high. They are not setup to offer more memory care assistance. You can bring in your own staff, but the cost is there as well.
